Louise was born in Brooklyn and, with her songwriting parents, migrated west to be raised in LA’s Laurel Canyon during an exciting time in music history. As a child, she was immersed in the halcyon days of the emergence of singer-songwriters’ explosion into pop culture.
Goffin is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist & producer. She released her debut album Kid Blue on a major label (Elektra-Asylum) when she was 19, and has gone on to release eight albums on both majors and her own independent Majority of One.
She has released the songs "Good Times Call," "New Year’s Day (ft. Billy Valentine)," "Let Me In Again," "A Fine Surprise, "Revenge (ft. Skylar Gudasz)," and "Bird of Paradise" as digital singles in 2017-2018. Louise both wrote songs for and produced Carole King’s Grammy-nominated album A Holiday Carole.
"uncommon grace, class and originality… Her legacy reveals her to be a virtual Brill Building unto herself." — No Depression
"['Let Me In Again''] feels hauntingly romantic… it's a song that handily lights a spark in listeners' hearts and yearns to be spun again moments after it's over all for the sake of the pathos that Goffin wholly commits herself to appealing to in her performance." — PopMatters
